Apple has been, for a very long time now, one of the most famous and innovative electronics companies in the world. Since their inception in 1976, the company, set up by partners by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne, has produced and released such ground breaking products as the Macintosh range of computers, the only real challenger to the Microsoft Windows hegemony over the last 20 years, the massive iPod mp3 player and, as of last year, the iPad which has began a scramble for power in a new market, that of tablet computers.
It was not until early 2007 though that Apple announced to the world that they would be entering the mobile phone business, changing both the company and the market, as, in January 2007, Apple released the Apple iPhone.
The first version of the iPhone was released later that year and included plenty of brand new technological advances

The various versions of Blackberry, Research in Motion’s incredibly popular mobile phone series, have a lot going for them. Although they do not boast the same devotion to the lighter side of mobile phone technology that we see with Apple's iPhone and several Android based handsets out there, in certain areas the Blackberry is without peer.
